Mesquite Baptist Academy

Mesquite Baptist Academy’s foundation is based upon the authority of the Bible, God’s Holy Word, the center of this ministry’s curriculum. In our eyes, there is only one Bible for the English-speaking people, the King James Bible 1611. Our ministry philosophy will be taken from the Bible. The philosophy of Mesquite Baptist Academy is taken from Proverbs 9:10, “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding”. Education is described in scripture as input for output, knowing for doing, process for product, and conduct for experience. There are three elements that work simultaneously to provide a superior education: the home, the church, and the education ministry. Communicating together in a spirit of unity will accomplish the goal of education.

Mesquite Baptist Academy believes the highest goal in discipline is self-discipline. It must be taught in precept and practice. It is the purpose of this ministry to use born again believers of like faith to train young people in the nurture (discipline) and admonition (instruction) of the Lord; thus, it is imperative that Christian teaching be presented by godly Christian teachers in a Christian environment.

We are proud to be called Americans, but we realize that being born an American does not make our child or us a good citizen. Good citizenship must be taught. Mesquite Baptist Academy will seek to train children how to make a living and how to live while making that living. Love for God and for our great country will be stressed. The respect for the rights of others, proper manners, and honor for our governmental rules and laws will be taught to preserve our freedom. The American and Christian flags will be raised as a standard to a world that needs freedom and true redemption.

We are glad to have each of you as a part of our family. This trustworthiness is not taken casually on our behalf. We do ask for one request, that you would diligently pray for the ministry that God has allowed us to have. Throughout the school year, we will endeavor to keep the communication lines open and keep you informed as much as possible. We would entreat that you do the same with your child.
